No my car was hit in the left side and the original repair was sub par.  All metal replacement was done by local fabricators.  The supplier trouble I have had is with the quality of engine parts.  The Chinese-looking spring tensioner for the lower chain from XK's is set up for 1/4 studs instead of the 5/16 used by Jaguar.  I felt it was highly inadvisable to bend the chrome-plated steel tensioner to fit the original mounts.  I was also dismayed with the rough-cut, unpolished stainless D-washers this company sent me.  What are they thinking?

Just curious. Are you having difficulty getting the parts to line up due to a newly bought body components such as a new wing? This seems to be a common problem that a couple of Members are experiencing.

Thanks Rafe!

We spent the last two weeks getting the doors to fit right!  Now I am moving on to the front end.  The two sides do not match each other and the left inner edge where the bonnet meets it is too low.    I'd say overall, there is at least a month to go before paint.

Very nice. Looks as if it is ready to paint and then reassembly. Great job.

BTW your photo is the 3000th uploaded to this site :-)
