I own these plates that were on a 1963 Jaguar Mark 10 that was brought into Canada in 1965. I tried to get these plates re-registered through the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). It was a very, very frustrating experience as I was bounced around the different departments, put on endless hold (pretty costly when you are calling from Canada), the usual stupid recorded messages or falling on some junior idiot clerk etc. Plus a number of… Continue
We all know that the E-Type is/was the most beautiful car ever made. BUT in terms of AESTHETIC DESIGN and EYE APPEAL which is more beautiful or sexier? The E-Type Series 1 Coupe or the E-Type Series 1 Roadster. Very clearly in terms of ownership, there is no question that the Roadster is the more desirable of the two. Have your say by…

Of interest in the first video there was a major screw-up by Christie's regarding the Auto-Union race car. It never sold as there was a question to the history and credentials of the car. It was later withdrawn from the auction. The full story of the 1939 Auto Union Type D at that was to be auctioned by Christie's is well documented HERE.… Continue

What a genius inventor. Fuller was without doubt… Continue

Name the Maker and Model of this Car. Hint (1) the Maker's name has 6 letters. The last letter in the Maker's name is the letter "I". Hint (2) We erased the Maker's name which was stenciled on the top part of windscreen and on the stabilizer. Good luck. QBP94WP3G4BU CFR4CPPSJAPQ

A couple of months back I received a call from a person I know who owns a fabulous 1959 Jaguar XK 150. He had bought the car in boxes and restored it to mint condition over a 7 year period. The car is never driven but instead it is transported in an elaborate trailer to the many Jag shows across North America for judging. His restoration costs alone are well in excess of $150,000
He was calling me to see if I had a 1959 Lucas… Continue
Pretty hard to believe but there really was an Avon after-shave in a British Racing Green bottle that was in the shape of a E-Type. Coming from Avon it must have smelled like dogie poo. It was called "Deep Woods After Shave". On a related note Jaguar Cars have lent their name and logo to a MENS FRAGRANCE. I wonder what other marketing gimmick they will come up with.…
