Fooling around with a pair of Stromberg Carburettors

The winter months in Canada can be brutal. To make things more interesting I've decided to undertake an educational DIY project. Rebuilding a pair of Stromberg Carbs from an E-Type Series 2. I've never tackled such a project before so I figured its never too late to learn something new. OR of course screw up something new. I'll be taking lots of pictures as the work progresses. Just when I thought I had seen it all.

I'm trying to help a Jag collector in the Czech Republic with a 2.5 Liter 1931 SS100 four door Saloon, The remaining cars in his collection are a two E-Types, a XK 120 FHC, a XK 140 FHC, a Mark V and............ (are you ready for this???) an early London Transit Double-Decker shown below. AMMMMMAAAAAZZZZING!!!!
